Knowledge of decibel

Decibel (DB) is the unit of the sound pressure level (the size of the voice). When the sound pressure is doubled, the sound pressure level increases by 6 dB. 1 dB is the voice that human ears can barely hear. Below 20 decibels, we think it is quiet. 20-40 decibel is equivalent to the whisper of lover's ear. 40-60 DB is our normal conversation. 60 dB is above noise. 70 dB is noisy and starts damaging the auditory nerve. 90 dB will cause hearing loss. For 100-120 minutes in a room of 1 decibels, if there is no accident, people will become deaf.
